MusiPlaner is an app that offers a clear and simplified representation of the events of the wind band Musikkapelle Pettnau. Events can be filtered according to different categories, imported into the device calendar and shared with other people via various channels (e.g. e-mail, SMS, social media). The app was developed with the purpose of providing information to the band members and public.
Musikkapelle Pettnau is a wind music band located in Tirol, Austria. It was re-founded in 1960 and currently has 45 active members. They are dedicated to the traditional music (March, Waltz, and Polka), spiritual music but play modern and international music as well. The musicians meet themselves in regular rehearsals and present their work in ecclesiastical events, public concerts, and festivals.
With the MusiPlaner app, we have all our band's dates on our fingertips and clearly displayed. Hence, nobody no longer misses upcoming rehearsals, meetings, and events.
The previous website was pretty outdated regarding the design and styles. It also run on an old and unsupported version of the CMS. Therefore, the client and I agreed on a complete redesign and to give it a modern and fresh touch. The website provides useful information about the association and its relative wind bands (“Blasmusikkapellen”). Besides that, it has a personal blog to publish the latest news and a calendar to view the ongoing and future events.
As the big band Alexander’s Swing-Time Orchestra started their work in 2019, they needed a website in first place in order to spread their music and news to the public on the Internet. The website uses a standard band theme including an eye-catching landing page, a personal blog and an event schedule. There are pages for the band members and different media (photos, videos and discography) as well.
This Body Mass Index Calculator lets you determine your personal health status. It is a multi-screen app with very simple functionality and focus on design. The user can select their gender, adjust the body height using a slider, the weight as well as the age using increment/decrement buttons. The result is shown on the next screen.
This website was designed to show potential clients how a personal blog can look like. The blog consists of an image header followed by three featured posts. On the home page, I added a email subscription form and the most recent blog posts. On each page, there is a sidebar showing personal information, favorite posts, advertisements and other products. In addition to that, the footer is connected to an Instagram profile which automatically updates. As the topic of this blog is about food and health, there is a separate section to post different recipes.
